| Location: West Jordan,Ut,United States Member Since: Jan 16, 2015 Gender: Male Goal Type: Highschool Champ Running Accomplishments: I have been apart of Lehi's Cross Country and Track teams for four years. I was a member of the varsity team when we took 3rd at the Utah 5A State Championship. In that race I took 28 with a time of 16:18. My PR was at NXR Southwest where I took 47th place with a 15:43. During my junior track season I ran the 800m, 1600m, and the 3200m. At the State Championships I ran the 800 leg of Lehi's Medley Relay and helped break the school record, we finished 6th with a time of 3:35.97. In my senior track season I qualified for state, and the Arcadia Invitational in the 3200m. I finished the season with a PR in the 1600m as a 4:24.8, and a 9:32.58 in the 3200m. I have also competed in the AF Canyon half marathon placing 7th with a time of 1:16:55. Short-Term Running Goals: I would like to get my 5k time closer to 15:00 maybe even sub 15:00, and an 8k around 25:00. Long-Term Running Goals: I would mostly like to keep on improving. I would like to run at least one marathon, and race a triathalon. Personal: I ran for Lehi High School. I was the distance team captain for the track team. I'm eighteen years old. | Pretty good day today, visited the University of Miami and meet with the distance coach, Coach Griffiths. I was given a tour of the athletic facility and talked to Coach Griffiths about running for the University. Later in the day I ran my miles for today around the hotel I'm staying at since I didn't want to get lost, I ended up running roughly 10 laps around the block, It was hot and humid, but I was able to breath easily so it was a good run, average mile pace of 6:34

| Was back in Utah for the day, it was cold and wet which kinda sucked but I did my miles anyway, 6:58 average mile pace

| Arrived in California today, getting pumped for Arcadia. Wasn't able to do my miles until later in the evening, I didn't know the area around the hotel so I finished the last few miles on a treadmill when it got dark, I tried to get somewhat of a premeet in but the distances weren't perfect but it will do. 7:12 average mile pace

| Ran the anchor leg of Lehi's 4x800m today at Arcadia. Overall I would have to say that I'm happy with how we did, there were some troubles with the baton being dropped but even with that complication we finished with a 8:21.89 a PR for our outdoor team. I felt that my leg went well, I don't know what my split was but it felt pretty fast, I know I pushed myself as much as I could because I spent the next few minutes after the race rediscovering all that I had eaten that day, Papa Heaps showed great care and support for me by taking pictures of the inccident, so those gems are floating around out there. Afterwards I stayed and watched Connor and Thomas run their 3200m. Connor ran a 9:27.17, and Thomas ran a 9:48.24 so congrats to both of them for a great race. After all that I went back to hotel to start preparing for my 3200m tomorrow.

| I ran the rated 3200m at Arcadia today and I feel that it went rather well. I managed to saty with the pack for the first mile coming in around a 4:39 mile split, then I started to fall back I tried to keep in contact witht the group but it just wasn't happening, I did find enough in me for a killer kick passing about 5 guys to finish with a 9:32.58. Throughout the day I watched Thomas and Connor run their mile races, both of them did really well running impressive times. So all in all I would call Arcadia a success.
