Running Accomplishments:

I have been apart of Lehi's Cross Country and Track teams for four years. I was a member of the varsity team when we took 3rd at the Utah 5A State Championship. In that race I took 28 with a time of 16:18. My PR was at NXR Southwest where I took 47th place with a 15:43. During my junior track season I ran the 800m, 1600m, and the 3200m. At the State Championships I ran the 800 leg of Lehi's Medley Relay and helped break the school record, we finished 6th with a time of 3:35.97. In my senior track season I qualified for state, and the Arcadia Invitational in the 3200m. I finished the season with a PR in the 1600m as a 4:24.8, and a 9:32.58 in the 3200m. I have also competed in the AF Canyon half marathon placing 7th with a time of 1:16:55.

Short-Term Running Goals:

I would like to get my 5k time closer to 15:00 maybe even sub 15:00, and an 8k around 25:00.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I would mostly like to keep on improving. I would like to run at least one marathon, and race a triathalon.

Personal:

I ran for Lehi High School. I was the distance team captain for the track team. I'm eighteen years old. Member of Team Pre, (follow us @team_pre on instagram.) Now I attened the University of Miami and run on their XC team.

First time using the Alter G this morning and it was an experience, It uses air to lift you up so that you are running on only a portion of your body weight, for example today I ran on 70% body weight. Unfortunatly it holds you up by the groin area which made for a pretty uncomfortable 40 minute run. Afterwards I did rehab on my ankle

Today was 45 minutes on the water treadmill with 25% jets followed by some rehab on my ankle.

Had another weight workout today but I had to sit out on some of the excercies due to my ankle. Afterwards I did 30 minutes on the water treadmill.

Due to yesterdays incident today was mostly rehab work, I ran on the water treadmill for 30 minutes, then did a series of exercies to strengthen and test out my ankle, followed by a stim treatment. I went back in the afternoon for another round of stim as well as some ultrasound therapy. To top the day off I had an appointment with the team doctor about some breathing difficulty I have been having during workouts, he said it might be exercies induced asthma, so they are going to give me an inhaler and see if that fixes things.

Today started off with a weight workout. Afterwards I went on a run with the team. We were running on a golf course when we heard the lightning alarm from the school, since we were in a wide open area suceptable to lightning we decided to get off the field as soon as possible, which took us across a small grass field in which I slipped on some mud stepped in a hole and rolled my ankle... overall not a great start to the day
