It was a crazy morning, we had a speed workout today which consisted of 400, 800, 1600, 800, 400 all at 5 minute pace. throughout the workout it was raining super hard, lanes 1 & 2 were flooded and it was hard to see. I felt fairly good durig the first 400 and 800, but my calves started to tighten up during the 1600 and I finished way behind the rest of the group, it was a similar story with the 800 but I was able to fight through the pain for the last 400 and finish with the team. It was the first workout that I've been able to finish with the team in quite some time, so I was super excited about that, hopefully things only get better from here.
